Is It Time To Move On?

Those of you who follow me on Twitter will know that this week, I asked you guys whether or not you think I should make the big step towards YouTube.
Your response was yes!
Which is why in a number of weeks my very first Youtube video will be going up.

Now I'm very nervous about this move but you guys have all reassured me that it will be okay-
Well hopeful anyway.
One fellow Blogger and YouTuber even said to me that "What could possibly go wrong? If you fail then at least you tried." Very well said if you ask me.

So really the aim of today's post was to tell you guys that I will be starting my own channel, yes I'm quite frankly terrified but I'm also super excited too!
I want you guys to know that if any of you are feeling nervous about a new step in your life then you should just go for it- you never know it could just be the best step you've ever made.
And "If you don't learn to jump then you'll never learn how to fly"
(I love this quote)

Sometimes doing the thing that scares you the most, may just be the thing that offers you the most opportunities...

I'm not saying that I'm going into YouTube with the hope that I'll become an overnight sensation and start living the dream as a YouTuber because as nice as that would be, I know it doesn't work like that.
There's so many amazing people on YouTube it will be hard to make myself different from the rest of the crowd, but what I am looking forward to will be the journey to meeting lots of new people who will hopefully become friends and having lots of fun in general.
I will still be blogging on here too though, so don't worry I'm not going to give up on the blogging front just yet.
Because I don't know about you guys but for me YouTube is what makes me happy.
There's so much negativity in the world that adding a bit more positivity makes the world a little bit of a brighter place to be- doesn't it?

My channel will cover similar things to what I cover on here but what I am hoping is to get my personality across a bit more, as you fellow Bloggers will know it can be hard to express who you are in a bunch of words.
I am however open to suggestions too- If you guys have anything you like to see me cover on YouTube then please leave a comment below.

My channel won't be up and running for a few weeks yet as I'm going to wait until I finish my Art Foundation course because then I should hopefully have a lot more time to film and to just basically have fun!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend and I'll be back next week with more from me.
Have a egg-celent Easter!
(HAHA Yes I did just laugh at my own pun)
Enjoy all the Easter treats!

Take Care

My New Love...

I don't think today's post is something that I've really covered a lot on my blog but it's definitely something that I would like to cover more, and that little something is 'Fashion Posts'.
Now I am most definitely no 'fashion' expert-
I love fashion, I love reading about fashion, I love watching lookbook videos so I thought why not share my love a little bit more with you guys.

So this means that over the next couple of months, I will hopefully be doing some more posts about fashion if you want them.

Now we've got that out of the way, I will get on with this post...

Culottes...
Love them, hate them, you can't avoid them this season.

They are literally everywhere-
Anyone who is massively into fashion is wearing them.
Now I'm not going to lie, I hated these when they first came out, I thought they were horrible, unflattering and just basically just not for me.

So somehow around 2 months laters, I've actually gone out and bought some...
Now you might be thinking 'WOAH that's a bit of a turn around?!?'
But the truth is they've just really grown on me.

I don't really know how to explain it but most of the time when a new fashion trend comes out, I'm always unsure of what I think of it, so I guess I'm just one of those people who has to get use to a particular trend before they decide they love it.
Is anyone else like this?
Unfortunately it does mean I'm usually pretty 'late to the party' when it comes to fashion trends, like I'll probably go up to a friend and be 'oh have you tried this new, latest trend' and they'll usually be like 'ummm yeah like 3 months ago'.
But as I always say 'It's better late then never!'

Crepe Culottes, New Look £14.99

So as I was saying, I went into one of my favourite shops and picked up these very gorgeous culottes for only £14.99!?!
Firstly can we just discuss the price of these? Like £14.99!?!- That's so cheap and they're actually really good quality for that price!
I know that there are so many culottes on the High Street at the minute in lots of different patterns and colours, but the reason I chose black is because I don't know how long I will like these for- it might only be a couple months or it could be a couple years. So I want to get as much wear out of them as possible therefore black is the perfect colour for me as it will go with most of the clothes that are already in my wardrobe.
But if you've got your eye on a bright yellow pair with a pineapple print on then go for it!

Fashion is such an amazing thing and I love how loads of different people can all be wearing the same thing but they all interpret it in different ways.
Fashion is just great like that!

I hope you've all enjoyed this post today,
Sorry for the lack of posts lately but I've just had so many deadlines coming up, it's just been so hard to find the time.

Hopefully it will gets back to normal soon,
I have however got another post coming towards the end of the week so make sure you check back for that.

I know I say this a lot but thank you so much for reading my blog, it just makes me feel so happy and proud to see people all over the world engaging with it.
For me this is why I love blogging so much!

Love you all and I'll see you soon.

P.S. If you too really love these culottes then why not click on the link to check them out, I'd love to hear what you all think of this trend in the comments below.

It’s Time To Be Honest About It.

In all honesty (the irony), I don’t quite know where to begin…
How can you ever tell someone a story?
Because we’re all writing our own and they’re never finished. I once read this quote which made me think a lot about my choices, ‘If it’s not the end you wanted, then it’s not the end’.

You know when you’re little and your parents/ teachers/ relatives always tell you how honesty is always the best policy but is it really? Should you always be honest about something that you know will make someone else sad? Aren’t little white lies best to prevent all of this?

Well I made a bad choice last night- I chose to be honest and it didn’t work out how I expected it to. I’m not going to go into massive detail because sometimes there’s stuff you don’t want to share online, as it doesn’t really fit with this picture you’ve painted of yourself, where you’re always happy and nothing ever goes wrong in your life.
But in reality this is wrong, everyone has bad days but we choose not to share this because we don’t want the bad days to be remembered.

All I’m going to say is that it’s about me deciding which University to go to, in my head I feel like I’ve decided however much to my Mum’s dismay it’s not the one that she wants me to go to. Am I being a bad daughter by not listening to her? Should I let my Mum live my life for me? Am I wrong in thinking a big decision such as picking a University should be down to me?
So as you’ve probably guessed my honesty resulted in a massive argument, where hurtful things were said but were they just hurtful because they were how we truly felt? I understand my honesty probably really hurt my Mum in particular, but she said some pretty hurtful, honest things back.
And now I don’t know what to do?

Right now I’m sat in my bed writing this as I feel blogging helps me to express how I’m really feeling, I feel like I can be honest on here because it’s my little space on the internet as cheesy as that sounds. It’s almost as if I feel I can truly open myself up here. In reality I would say I’m quite a ‘closed book’ sort of person, I don’t like to reveal too much about myself because I’m scared to be judged because of it. On here it’s a different story, I’ve opened up about things that quite frankly I never thought I would, things which I probably still wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for this blog.

I’m not expecting all of you reading this to know what to say but I am asking for a bit of advice if you feel like offering it in the comments below or on social media.

At the start of this post I felt like my head was going to explode because I kept building everything up inside yet I asked the question ‘Should you always be honest about something that you know will make someone else sad?’ And my answer… is yes!
Short term it may have bad consequences, but long term isn’t it better to get everything out in the open? I’m not saying you should always be honest in a brutal way, if your going to be honest then you should do it in the kindest way possible. No good will ever come out of being unkind.

I hope you felt you could relate to this post in some way- feel free to give your opinions in the comments below. I’d love to hear what all of you reading this think I should do.

Take Care and I’ll be back next Saturday and Sunday with more posts,
